Tina is a self-taught, emerging artist from a small mining village in North Wales.
Her current work explores body image and lived experience as a disabled woman through language and figurative work, challenging the perceptions of the representation of the female body.
Through an almost subconscious process, images unfold on the page referencing biographical memories.
Tina sometimes applies text that connects to particular visual image and employs a wide variety of techniques to explore this through oils, acrylics, drawing inks, pens, and a variety of mixed media.
Tina is an advisor to Disability Arts Cymru (DAC) and has recently worked with doctorate student, Prea Kaur at Keele University whose research explores generational trauma and the Indian diaspora in England.
